Johanna (Anna) McGuigan married
and later divorced William Lewis. Anna (she preferred to be called
Anna rather than her given name Johanna) lived in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where she
worked as a Film Splicer at a Philadelphia location of Paramount Pictures. Anna, or
"Nanny" as she was also known, spent some time living with her daughter
Rebecca and her four grandchildren. Johanna was born on February 2nd 1875 and died at the age of 81 on Monday, November 26th 1956. She was buried in the Holy Cross Cemetery (Yeadon, PA - USA) on Saturday, December 1st 1956. Anna is the only one buried in her cemetery lot location (Section "O" / Range 7 / Lot 69 South) The lot is listed in the estate of William Lewis (probably Anna's son). She is listed in the cemetery records with her last name spelled "Lewes" not Lewis. |
